Interference in school.


When there are no effective interventions against bullying, the school environment becomes
totally contaminated. All children, without exception, are negatively affected,
going to experience feelings of anxiety and fear. Some students who witness
situations of bullying, when they realize that aggressive behavior does not bring
no consequence to those who practice it may find fit to adopt it.

Some of the cases cited in the press, as happened in the town of Taiúva, São
Paul in early 2003 in which one or more students entered the school armed, shooting
against whoever was in front, depicting reactions of children who are victims of bullying. This particularly some thoughts about it - after much suffering, these students used the weapon as an instrument of "overcoming" the subduing of the power:
- their targets in virtually all cases, there were students who were punished or the
intimidated. When they decided to react against all done school, because everyone would
if omitted and ignored her feelings and suffering.

The measures adopted by the school to control the bullying, if well implemented, involving the whole school community, contribute positively to the formation of a culture of non violence in society.

It is an initiative to the group of students who take against one or more colleagues, in a situation
unequal power, causing intimidation, fear and pain and suffering to others. And it's objective, educate students to respect differences while avoiding the drop in school performance, isolation, abandonment of studies and low self-esteem.
